I have been busy studying. But doing this during a break makes me happy :)
Wanted to review yesterday, but didn't really have the time to do so. Yesterday, I received the Cassidy Corset from LB and the Charlotte Corset from a reseller (sourced from LB's forum!).
Gonna review the Cassidy Corset first simply cause it's too pretty to resist! I chose black because black has a slimming effect and I think the silver on black is very magical and appealing. Shiny shiny~ The beading on the outer mesh layer is very intricate and forms these gorgeous swirly patterns amongst the silver thread embroidery. The black beads aren't very visible cause it's black on black. Should be more obvious with the other base colours - cream & burgundy. Hope the beads don't fall out!
Top comes with vertical bonings all throughout the length, 2 in front and 2 at the back, so hanging the top is advised! No boning/wire at the bust. Unlike the LRH bustiers, the Cassidy Corset comes with a whole row of functional hooks. Yeah, got that right, have to hook it 1 by 1. Definitely not the easiest task on hand, but the complete look is worth it. It's scary though, if you go out and the hooks become unhooked. They unhook rather easily, so just be careful! The cutting is very flattering as it emphasises the waist (& that hour glass figure) and I think that the piece should be worn tucked out to display the full beauty of this corset. If you have it, flaunt it ;)
Size wise, I took M! Was scared I couldn't fit in based on the PTP measurements, but took a risk anyway! Seems like I can fit LB's M size. (I think L is too big..?)
Worn here with Megagamie's Tulip Wrap Skirt and Love Bonito's Milford Maryjane Heels.
Here's my OFTD: Butteredgun's Snakeskin Print Top & TVD's Chic Porter Shorts in Navy <3
