Put on this darling Roann Ruffled Swish Skirt for a quick review today. Still no chance to wear it out, cause it's fairly ridiculous to put on a maxi skirt to spend the day out studying. No one would get to view it anyway when it's just stuck under/behind a table full of books, get what i mean? Just took a few shots of the skirt and changed back into my shorts.
Asymmetry is all the rage now, but this is different from the mullet skirts flooding the online markets. Special, check! The midpoints are the longest (ends slightly above my ankles) while the sides are the shortest. Front and back pieces are 2 separate pieces of cloth and overlap each other slightly at the sides. Material is light, flowy and slightly sheer. No worries because the Roann comes with an inner lining of SHORTS! How cute is that! They act as safety shorts, and are made of a soft silky material. They wouldn't be exposed unless you would want to part the front and back pieces of your skirt by pulling them apart. *raise eyebrow* Anyhow, the shorts lining will protect your modesty ;) You can still be subtly sexy because your long, toned, lean gams (unlike mine) will be visible below the shorts lining and under the sheer material of the skirt.
Comes with waistband of the same colour - taupe, that is elastic only at the back. Would say it fits up to UK12 comfortably! This piece isn't manufactured by MissyPixie. In fact, i've noticed, most of their items aren't. Wonder where they get these beauties from. The skirt could have been made in a prettier colour; like the pastels that are so in season right now!! Taupe is alright I guess, good for those days when you feel earthy and going au naturale~

Was looking at their launch today. I must say their assymetrical chiffon skirts (of a midi length) are absolutely g o r g e o u s. But how many assym skirts does one need right? There was this really pretty floral lampshade skirt that only comes in 1 size too. Unfortunately, am running out of moolah really quickly spending my days in starbucks/coffeebean. Hence, more purchases would have to wait... till my allowance for May comes in.
edit 9pm// Did you grab something from Love Bonito's launch tonight? I did. Twice. Really have to slap myself :x I was so determined not to buy anything. BUT.. I convinced myself that maybe I won't look too bad in a bralet. So I bought the black Jubilee Bralet (after seeing that it was still in stock). After PayPal-ing for that, I went back to check if the other colours/sizes were OOS yet, and no... there was Sunflower which wasn't available before. I don't really have yellow tops, so got tempted again... and. i. carted. it. out. OMG, help. I really hope I can sell it off if I really find it too short! Was thinking (more of desperately hoping) that my HW shorts/skirts would be able to solve the problem of revealing too much flesh. If you are extremely keen on this piece in Black/Sunflower, email me please. Bought both in size L becuase i wasn't sure of the fit again, but I followed the measurements anyway. Eyelets are so pretty, and bralets are so spring right? Right.
