The highly anticipated packages came TODAY! Finally. Came back from from school and immediately took them from the mailbox. I was very anxious to see the length and the fit of the bralets since there were SO many resellers on the LB FB forum (ALREADY!).
OFTD in school: Love Bonito Covet Harelde Shift Dress + Yellow Pumps + TTR's Union Jack Knit Cardi! Super comfy, love the knit cardi's boyfriend cut and it keeps me warm :) Apparently it's imported from overseas ^^
Review proper. The Jubilee Bralet is as its name goes ~ a bralet, duh. So don't expect it to be long or even relatively long, because it's not. If you own the LRH Bustiers Series and think it's short, well... the Jubilee Bralet is even shorter. My body isn't very long and the bralet ends mid-waist. My highwaist shorts can't reach the end of the bralet :'( so I guess i'll be wearing these with skirts that I can hike up really highwaist. (I don't have the supermodel figure to go around baring my midriff & I think everyone will thank me for not doing so). So yes, hiding the untanned, untoned midriff of mine under skirts. The occasional sliver of skin is fine, thanks!
For those who want to show some skin, why not! It is so disgustingly hot in Singapore, i'm sure baring more skin will be cooling. It's kinda sexy too, if you're skinny/petite. Please don't go all skanky with mini skirts and hooker heels though.
I bought this in sunflower and black. Got it in L, which is a size too big. I have finally learnt that my LB top size is M. (GRRR. /wrist) But it's not too bad, tightening the adjustable straps makes it better. The PTP fit isn't tight and it isn't that loose either, so I can live with it if no one wants to buy it off me/trade with me. The thing about the cut is that it isn't tapered at the waist, so it's roomy there. Could consider altering the waist portion! There are gorgeous and cheery flower eyelet details on the bralet and it's so cute :) The exposed back zip is easy to do up and unzip as well!
Had to figure out what I could wear this with, so out come the skirts and shorts and whatnots. Am keeping my eye out for the longer version of this! Hoping to get brighter colours. Maybe it'll be produced in the popping mint/raspberry versions!
