Review: Dressabelle Mod Colour-Block Top & The Tinsel Rack Lacet Shorts

Today's OFTD: Dressabelle Mod Colour-block Top (Red) & TTR's Lacet Shorts in Red.

Both are old pieces, but I'd still wear them :)

I like colour-blocking. Well, I like colours in general. Monochromes all the time would be boring, we need some colours in our life! The front of the top features a red/black colourblock while the back is a surprise blue! The back is cut rather low, but still conceals the bra strap! Meant to be worn loosely, so there's allowance everywhere.

The shorts were hugely popular when they were launched! I didn't get it during the launch but I got my first pair in red from the forum! In the process, I BO-ed my second pair in navy. The shorts are rather short though, but I love the material- suede! The lace up front design is to-die-for! Though they don't really serve a functional purpose... They tighten the shorts by 2cm? Comes with a concealed side zip and 2 non-functional back pockets. Didn't think i'd wear these shorts very much, so I sold off my navy pair a while back. It'd be better if the shorts were longer! I took size L, which fits which allowance at the waist and slight allowance at the thighs. #fatthighwoes. SIGH, always a problem when buying shorts/pants.
