Review: The Velvet Dolls Scallop Lace Trimmed Dress

Didn't take a fancy to this during the launch, but when I saw the pictures of the back, I was asking myself why did I not buy this dress?! Scoured the forum for a reseller and could only find White in Size L. Since I didn't think there was gonna be much of a diff from Size M, I just grabbed it.

In fact it's more comfy and loose-fitting. The lace capped sleeves are really sweet! And the back is so subtly sexy. (Y) Just be really careful with the lace!

Reviews: Love Bonito Fayette Bustier & The Velvet Dolls Candy Empire Shorts V2

I. am. a. champion. Carted 4 pieces of this (cause it's so hard to shop on my phone and I think I spammed the add to cart button too many times. oops.) and let go 3, obviously. Got this in blue this time round cause I already have the pink one. I do believe it's the same one from last year's batch. Haha I have this print in HH's dress and another LB peplum top. This makes #4. ^^

Stuck to my usual size M and it fits the same as the other one! Read my review under the LB labels! The blue is just really pretty as well. Yes, I must have both blue and pink. Paired it with the TVD shorts and LB Miranda Skirt! I actually think it looks better with the skirt.

As for the TVD shorts, I took size L cause I took L for the floral empire shorts and Yina said she wore L as well. But.. I think Yina definitely lost weight cause L is rather fitting on me. I should have sized up, but oh well. I don't want the shorts to ride up so I sold away both the wine and black pairs which I camped for. :( The colours are really nice though and I wanted a black pair of shorts so badly. Hunt for more shorts continues.

I am matchy-matchyyyy. Yay! (So gay, but haha I like.)

Review: The Velvet Dolls Meadow Vale Floral Bustier

Caved in after a super long time and bought this top from a reseller! I really liked the prints so I just decided to be drastic and cut off the buttons, hahaha. I gave all the buttons to my friend in case hers fell out!

Actually the straps have been altered shorter by 2cm, and I thought that was quite negligible. BUT, oh dear the cutting of this top is really small! I just assumed Yina wore M and got M as i'm around her size. Hahaha, wowwww, i think the shorter straps made it even tougher to wear this top. Zipping down was a pain as well, lol. I eventually managed to wear the top properly, but I think it would have fitted me better before the person altered the straps. Sighhh.

Anyway, it's such a beauty. The prints are so gorgeous. Couldn't resist camwhoring ;) (combined the photos so that it's not so overwhelming, haha)

Went to the studio that shoots for Wonderstellar cause my family bought a GroupOn voucher! It was quite fun and the owners were really nice! Here's some shots, haha! Shan't show the family shots to keep their privacy >< (I actually wore what I wore to school for the casual/fun shots: TTR Tropical Blooms Bralet & TVD Suedish Paperbag Skirt)

The Velvet Dolls Angularity Blazer & Suedish Paperbag Skirt

YAY! Was looking forward to receiving my TVD parcel! I thought that I would be able to get it last week but oh well, post usually reaches me late. Thank goodness it came today, cause usually nothing comes on Mondays! ._.

Bought this paperbag skirt cause I really liked how Yina pulled it off and the flared design suits me! I recently bought 2 of MGG's I'm So Pleaty skirts too and I love matching the skirts with tops! This paperbag design is sorta similar but the pleating details are different, especially at the waist. I'm not sure if it would look better without the belt. Hmm, I think this skirt is a bit poofy though... Poof-ier than MGG's. I got Size M for the skirt and I was scared I couldn't fit/that the fit would be tight! But it's actually a good fit with allowance! (Y) Just pulled it out of the package, sorry for the crumpledness.

The exterior feel is suedish as the name suggests, and the skirt comes with smooth inner lining! (I don't know why it seems to look longer on Yina?! :x)

Rating: 3.5/5 (I think MGG's is better!)

Got into this Blazer phase recently, oh dear. I'd better actually really have the courage to wear these to school. I'm worried that I may be a little over-dressed, since some people in my class come in.... uh much more casual wear. Haha. I missed the Ashford Pastel blazer since I wasn't in this blazer phase yet. That was supposed to be a more casual blazer and this one is supposed to be more structured and formal. :/ We'll see.

Size M is a good fit for me! More allowance than the floral blazer from OSF. Still can't fold up the sleeves though! It should double up well as a jacket when the LT is cold then. The inner satin lining is comfy! I wouldn't button this up either, haha. I'm kinda obsessing over white blazers... But since I can't wear them that often... I. WILL. CONTROL. White blazers will look VERY classy with white shorts, in my opinion! ^^

Review: TVD Abstract Tulips Lantern Dress

OMG this BO took forever. Super long BO due to some problem over on the supplier's side. This can rival LB's BOs... Hahaha. Well i'm glad that it's finally here.

Upon opening the package... I was a little dismayed at the colour. It seems faded..? Haha no idea, not really like it was on the preview/launch photos. Ah well, it's not that bad. Lavender is a sweet colour! The PTP is too big for me, but still barely acceptable. The tulip skirt isn't too poofy so that's good! This is a dress for "fat" days. Haha am keeping it anyway!

Got this dress from Agnes & Maurice! 2nd peplum dress, and I think it'll probably be my last! Not a very practical dress to wear under a white coat in hospitals. And the peplum trend would probably die down soon! So okay stop at 2. The white part is a little sheer! Fits me okay! I like the colourblocking of white & navy.

Reviews: The Velvet Dolls Crayola Two Pockets Shorts & Her Velvet Vase Bahamas Floral Splash Top

Got tempted into buying another pair of these shorts because of the colour. I mean, how pretty (& uncommon) is this deep purple?! Got it in Size M this time and it still fits well, not too tight/loose! YAY! Wore it with TTR's Neon Glow Top for school today!

Rating: 4/5

This top is so much shorter than I expected!! >< Ah well, shall pair it with high waist bottoms! Love the splash of colours anyway! Comes with a zip down back zip.
