Review: (More) Cap Toe Flats

Okay, since I'm nearing the end of M2, it's gonna be the start of the Clinical Skills Foundation Programme. It'll be my turn to finally enter the wards and start seeing real patients. It's all pretty exciting and scary at the same time.

With the start of CSFP, comes the period of time where all of us have to dress formally. To be presentable to the patients and the public in the hospitals. It calls for comfort (with style). To prepare for the days ahead, I bought more flats. Since it would definitely be the most comfortable.

Love Schues Capped Jelly Flats

After reading all the different reviews, I have concluded that most people think that LS shoes are very comfortable, so I thought I should get myself a pair for the days when my feet are gonna be in extreme pain. Bought this nude jelly pair with a gold metal cap to prepare for that. Sized down according to the advice given to a Size 37. Fits me well, and it truly is pretty comfortable. (Y)

TGIFashion Zara Tagged Suede Pumps

Got myself these after I saw there was a spree open. I always envied Ying Tian for having managed to grab a pair of these original babies at the Zara sales. I really love the turquoise colour and the matching cap toe. It's also made of suede, so the quality is +++. Ordered a Size 38. It comes tagged under Zara and even has the Zara label. The heel bit bites a bit, but nothing I can't tolerate.

Here's my OFTD for the "last" day in NUS. White x Cobalt, Love Bonito.

Life After Pros

M2 (Year 2 in Medicine) has passed by in a flash. We're in Procedural Skills Week now and we're heading to the hospitals soon. Wow.

Check out my Suturing & Knot-tying that we learnt today! Hehehe.

Had an OG lunch at La Nonna post-pros and had the ever so amazing Rigatoni. La Nonna has a 1-for-1 deal every weekday for their pastas, pizzas and mains! It's really worth it. I've been there more than a few times, and my friend is so regular there that the waiters recognise him. :O

#OFTD was my Taia Kate Dress V2 in Cobalt! So happy that I found it from a reseller! Love the new cut!

Oh, over the weekend I had a Sunday brunch at a place that I used to frequent a lot when I was young. Changi Sailing Club~ Seaside dining is so lovely. The sea breeze while eating lunch, such a relaxing time. I highly recommend this place if you're willing to drive up all the way to Changi Village. The dining area is open to Non-Members. You can try to sneak into the club if you can for a lovely walk on the beach.

Review: Wisteria Merissa Ombre Lace Dress & OFTD

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!! ^^

Saw this dress on Wisteria's FB preview as a surprise launch! I thought I was really lucky to get it... but then I soon saw this same dress pop up on soooo many other blogshop launch previews. Haha oh well, luckily this colour wasn't sold in all. It probably was sold only at Intoxiquette as well.

Chose mint! Cause it's so refreshing. Was debating whether to get lilac or not, but i'm such a Tiffany girl.

The cut of Size M fits me perfectly and I love the layer of lace that gradients from white to mint. There is a full inner lining that isn't sheer. It's so easy to wear this dress, and it just spells SWEET. Date, school, dinner, outing. Anything.

Here's a random OFTD when I wore the Miranda Skirt in Crimson ^^

Review: Megagamie Adelaide Belt & Accessories & OFTD

I totally missed out on the metal plate belt trend when LB first launched it, but I caught on soon enough when MGG launched their version, albeit thicker.

I think it really spices up an outfit and adds an instant GLAM factor into your dressing. Gold is definitely eye-catching, so wear a simple outfit to start off with. I bought both black and off-white and they can go with any colour! Super pretty.

It's just a little hard to bend the metal plate to your contour at the start, but adjusting and all after that is pretttttty easy.

Wore the black one when I went for NUSSU Bash and the white one to school.

Random outfit I thought was really cute ^^ #OFTD

& accessories I bought at the NUS Science Fair @ 4 for $12! SO PRETTTYYY. I LOVE THEM.

Sponsored Review: Hello Blogshop Cream Crochet Top

It's a new year, so this is my first sponsored review of the year, yay! I'm really bored of studying right now, so here I am blogging. (The school is ultra mean to us. I mean like there's a major exam 2.5 weeks into the start of school, and there's a lot of prep involved. Systemic Pathology & lots of Pharmacology. This is a super bad time too because I'm really missing my med conference friends a lot. I really mean, a lot. I can't wait to go to Seoul to visit them soon.)

So anyway, back to the review. Was pretty happy to get a package from Hello Blogshop! Cause I didn't blogshop much in December, so I kinda forgot how nice it is to receive a package in my mailbox. ^^ I chose this top cause I am in a wear-something-comfy phase. Since I "dress up" for school and all, sometimes it's nice to just throw on something easy and just go out (I mean like for a walk out to Holland V or something).
It's of oversized fit and is super meal-friendly. Hehehe, yay for foodies like me.

Comes with an inner layer that is non-sheer and smooth! I simply tucked in the inner layer and left the outer layer untucked over shorts. That's my laidback style. Haha.

Visit helloblogshop.com for frequent launches! They have awesome style and are really really really friendly. Awesome CS is always a major plus point!

Here's an OFTD post for my first official day of school (since I missed day 1 in Japan and was sick). I willingly wore pants to school :O woahh, haha. Cause I knew I would be staying in the library to study on, and it would be cold. (and yes, I was still sick... or rather I still am.) Gold top from BKK, "leather jeans" from Gelliz and Fanning Flats from LB! red x blue x gold, one of my fav combis!

Oh and I finally got round to unpacking my luggage slowly. Can't wait to pack it up again, though my next trip would prolly be months away. This is how I spent my yen on the last day, 8500 of it... on Japanese make up and hair products, which are really much cheaper!!! According to my new Jap friend, look for the No. 1 + Crown + @cosme stickers on the make up and they're bound to be one of the best. Inevitably, I also upgraded my make up pouch. >< I hardly even put on make up to school/out... haha I am hopeless. Hoping to try all of them soon! (I'm even getting her to buy even more for me. hehehe)

Okay back to studying~ which means I started online shopping again. Retail therapy. It works.

I will blog, slowly. Until my exams are over. #medschool

Review: Love Bonito Victoire Blouse

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL!

A quick post before I fly off to Japan tonight, and I won't be back till next year! All my winter posts have been for this and I am megaaaaa excited!

Grabbed this top during LB's sale weekend (which was Playhouse weekend. my friend and I were shopping during our lunch break. ACJC's wifi was super slow too. hahaha) Saw that the black & gold was still available! Didn't think twice about the sizing and stuck with the usual M though the PTP is wider for this cut. The shoulders fit perfectly! The padding is a little annoying though, ah well, it adds to the 'smart' feel of this top. I love the shimmery gold sleeves which add such festive cheer to the black centre. (black & gold. if you know me, you know I can't resist this combi)

I added some accessories I bought in BKK too! Black, white + gold. *.*

Rating: 4.5/5

A previous OFTD and I also started wearing my new heels from LB & BKK too! Here's a pair my friend and I really insisted on buying. Besides, it was <$20, wahahaha. Love the brown nude straps at the back and it is really comfy cause of the platform in front!

Ooh wait, check out my new nails for Christmas & New Year & Japan! O.P.I's Mariah Carey collection Stay The Night & Skyfall Collection The Spy Who Loved Me on the highlight 4th nail. SO PRETTY, sparklyyyy~*~*~*~*~*~*

Bye everyone~

I will be back with a post of Japan and my winter OOTDs! Hope I don't freeze there!

Take care! Merry Christmas again and have a Happy New Year!
