There's nothing wrong with being a geek/nerd. Who says smart isn't beautiful. Those who are smart and intelligent (in their own way, doesn't have to be book smart) totally earn my respect. With society's ideals, so many girls are getting influenced the wrong way. Watched a documentary on YouTube about this 8 year old girl from the UK who was anorexic. She was 8 and counting calories. Seriously, the world has gotta stop conforming to ideals and the notion of a fixed beautiful body type. Sure, obesity is definitely out of the picture here but what's wrong with being healthy and real. Tyra Banks says it right when she talks on ANTM about being 'fiercely real' and always encouraging girls to remain healthy and not overly-obsessed with their weight and figure. (Disclaimer: if you are naturally skinny and underweight, then okay, GFY)
Anyway, bimbos do not have my respect. I really think a woman should be able to hold a decent conversation without trying to show some cleavage or batting her eyelashes like crazy. Have some respect for yourself, for your body. People always laugh at stereotypical nerds or geeks, but brains wins beauty in my opinion. You are beautiful and you are milking it for all its worth, but one fine day decades down the road, you are going to age, no matter how many skincare products/procedures you use/do. It's all physiologically-programmed, accept it.
The definition of geek has definitely changed over the years. Ignore what they say on the dictionary/internet. Those are outdated. Times have changed. (If you are so against being a geek, please do not buy the shirts that say "GEEK" or "NERD" and wear it just to act smart and trendy.)
Be a geek and proud. By the way, who says geeks have to be unfashionable nowadays. Geek chic has been trending over certain periods these years: oversized black glasses, suspenders, high socks. ;)
