Black Ombre; Review of Thread Theory A Song Of Peace Dress & Lucite Heels

Contemplated on getting this dress for a very long time. Saw it being launched on many other sites in different colour combinations. Finally got it from Thread Theory (no special reason why) and in grey because I lack grey in my wardrobe. It's a subtle, understated colour that can look quite nice. I didn't go for plain grey dresses cause that might be too boring, so this ombre grey colour scheme adds some 'life' to the dress.

It's a trapeze cut dress, where the bottom flares out quite a bit more than the top. This flowy, airy cut is very very good for 'feel fat' days and buffet meals. It's also very cooling as you go by your day in sunny Singapore.

If you wanna add more colour, go for a bold statement necklace and accessories/bags.

Rating: 4/5

All things ombre includes this pair of heels which I saw on a marketplace site. I got it for $70+ including shipping, so I'd say it's pretty pricey for a no-brand shoe. However, this combines the ombre and lucite trend into 1 shoe, which is awesome. I was tempted to buy the Charles & Keith shoes, but after buying this, I have no need to. The ombre on the heels is black-clear. The heels are pretty comfortable, but I do not advise spending the entire day walking in them because of the lack of front platform.
