Oops haven't been posting about food for a while. No posts about food doesn't mean that I haven't been eating good food. Heh.
After pros, I went for restaurant week 3x! Boathouse @ Fullerton, Il Lido & Casa Tartufo.
Boathouse: $55++ (dinner per pax)
Great ambience, excellent service, good food (portions aren't that big but you can always fill yourself up on the free bread). After dinner I would suggest a few drinks at Prelude, the bar on the rooftop. The view at night is simply magical. It is an open bar, so I hope it doesn't rain in the day/night. The bar is indoors, but there is a really small seating area by the bar. The main seating area is outside.
Il Lido: $40++ (Lunch per pax)
This place was chosen by my friend... and my friend is a huge foodie... so it must be good? Haha. The only thing is that this place is in Sentosa, and it would definitely be a good idea to drive in. I got lost on the way in. It's pretty near the golf course and overlooks the sea. But but but, the food. AMAZING. I love the food. It was really so so so good. The beef was to die for. To die for. Yes I am foodgasming right now at just the thought of it. Highly recommended!! Super worth it too, just look at all the dishes we were served!
Casa Tartufo: $55++ (Dinner per pax)
I admit the reason I chose this was cause this is a TRUFFLE restaurant. Truffle everything. When you link anything to truffle it's supposed to be nice right? But I was rather disappointed when the food was served. I'd have to say the highlight was probably the truffle ice cream served at the end. Not really worth the money that we spent. Oh well. The truffle fries was mediocre too :(
