Another tick off the food list! I have wanted to try this place since 2013! Well, actually I was thinking of going to the rooftop bar cause I didn't know they had a restaurant! Every restaurant week, this place is always fully booked too.
The restaurant has an amazing view thanks to its great above-ground 62nd floor (!!) height. They also have these huge windows where you can look out and see the city lights. Lovely view to have while you are enjoying fabulous food. After dinner we went to walk around the rooftop bar at the 63rd floor. The view was even better, cause it's totally open-air. There are glass panels all around to prevent any accidents. Music was blasting from speakers as well. I think the atmosphere for chilling is pretty good.
Anyway, back to food. We had the restaurant week set dinner menu. Usually the restaurant week menus aren't really that good, cause the prices are all reduced (so maybe they don't serve the best food?). However... at Stellar, we were in awe. Food-gasms.
I took a look at their usual Ala Carte menu. The prices are high but I think the quality is worth it. Do try this out when you have the time (and the money!).
