Headed to Quayside Isle with a bunch of my school foodie friends cause we heard some recent raves about the (not so) new place at Sentosa which has great food and a great view! I highly suggest driving or at least cabbing inside because it is rather far in. There is a carpark at Quayside Isle itself that has limited lots. I think you can park at W hotel which is just next to QI (but not for free).
We walked around and decided on Brussels Sprouts, rather than just the other cuisines which didn't really seem very special to us. It was between Brussels Sprouts and a pizza place, but BS won because we haven't tried Belgian food before and the mussels were absolutely tempting.
We chose to sit outside because of the cool drizzly weather and beautiful scenery just next to us. The sea and magnificent yachts/boats -- what a view! The food is slightly higher-priced, but I guess when you come to this sort of area it is expected.
My friends and I ordered & shared:
1) Petit Sale - grilled pork belly with an assortment of sides
2) Salade De Crabe - king crab salad on toasts
3) Carbonade Flamande - beef stew in belgian beer on pasta
4) 2 x Mussels in A L'Escargot & Ostendaise - came with a free refill of fries on the side!
It was enough for 5 of us!
Check out their menu online! :)
