Poulet

Poulet has been on my food list for a really long time and I couldn't wait to try it. Chanced upon it at Vivocity just opposite Jamie's and went there for an early dinner on a weekday. There was no queue when I went there but it was pretty still full. They have a simple menu with a few recommendations. 

We ordered the signature chicken with cream sauce, pork belly, fries and escargot. The escargot came first and they were piping hot. The sauce was different from the usual garlic butter (which is yumz btw), as it had a tomato base, but it was still quite good. T ordered the fries cause he was afraid that the half-chicken he ordered would not be filling. He found the chicken pretty tender, but the sauce was a little weird, I would think because of the bit of alcohol in it. I really liked my pork belly which was so tender and easy to cut up. I removed the mustard on top though, didn't like the taste of that! T liked my dish better than his, hahaha. The fries were good and crispy. I would have preferred them cut thinner though. Don't like thick strips of potato.
