Review: LaceAndEbony Karrie Floral Top & Gelliz High Roller Denim Shorts

Another 2 of the presents from the mailbox yesterday!

Riding the S/S'12 wave over here~~~

The floral top was 15% off after some kind soul on BOS let slip the offer codes from vanity trove! Made it super worth it! I think it was $22, or something like that. Chose the sky blue instead of the cream version cause I thought it looked nicer. There's a pastel trend now too! Made of double layered chiffon, inner piece is cream. Very light and flowy. Fits just right at the PTP for me! I think this piece would look very gorgeous tucked into a maxi skirt! Major love for florals!

Another addition to the shorts collection! Shorts are a basic and wardrobe staple!! Got this in Candy Pink! All sold out on the Gelliz website! Slightly stretchy denim fabric! Actually I thought it would be more pastel in colour, but i'm fine with the colour anyway! Great fit! I think I max out all the Gelliz sizes, haha. This one's in M! Just one thing, the zip area is dyed a darker colour, well since I stretch the shorts, the dark area shows. Minor issue anyway.

I MUST RAVE ABOUT GELLIZ. They (or she, Angela) has the BEST customer service ever. She replies emails VERY quickly and is always very nice. Last night, after receiving my loots from Gelliz - 2 pairs of shorts. I tried them on and found that the Mason Lace Shorts didn't suit me. So I emailed her and asked if I could send it back or exchange for other pieces! THE ANSWER WAS YES. OMG, which blogshop allows this?! Very few i'd say. Got 2 more pieces from the Flash Sale that ended at midnight. Paid $13.10 for both after minus-ing the Lace Shorts price! Mad love for Gelliz! :) 


edit 2.45pm// WAHAHA. I purposely stayed home to camp for LB's launch at 2pm since my home wireless is more reliable. I actually managed to cart out the Camilla Corset in 4 colours (except black) in M and 2 Hoffman Skirts (for my friend). I am so skilled!! Heh, I love weekday 2pm launches. I sold off both bralets cause they were short and this one is the longer version! (Y) Decided to cart out the White and Mint piece. BUT... the measurements are smaller this time round. Seriously... LB. Can they just have a standard sizing. Hopefully I can fit or else I have to hunt down the Ls! *cross fingers* They'll probably reach me only next week.. Till then! :)


edit 2.50pm//Ooh, LB replied my email! Miraculously fast this time! They said that the measurements are about the same as the Charlotte Corset. Okay, hopefully they aren't tricking me! My M for the Charlotte Corset is just about as fitting as it can go!
