Review: HollyHoque Contrast Denim Stitch Shorts & Lacepipe High Spirits Dress & Jayesslee

Today's aim was simple; study & enjoy at night. Hence, the day called for 2 outfits!

#1: STUDY
Wore the HH Contrast Denim Stitch Shorts that I got in Saffron L! Love the yellow, it's not too bright yet not too light. Not really a pastel yellow. I was kinda expecting the contrast stitching to be more obvious, but they're just a few lines here and there. Found this on the HH Forum, the previous seller let it go cause she was a size up from me and it was snug on her. The shorts are just nice on me! Yay! Albeit a little short in length. I think light yellow goes well with my tan. Oh and did I mention how cheap it is at only $22?!

#2: ENJOY
Got tickets to watch Jayesslee @ Kallang Theatre! Took this chance to dress up a little, since every day has just been shorts + tank. Wore the dress that I bought from someone on AgnesMaurice! This year's been the: try long sleeves phase. So I went ahead. Asked some friends for opinions and it was a (Y)! It's elasticised at the waist, but I covered it up with a neon pink skinny belt! No other accessories because it's an Aztec Print dress! Brought out the big guns --- chunky heels! & completed the outfit with my Red Cambridge Satchel! The dress is a little short, but it adds to the style, i'd say! Allowance all around for the fit! Not bad, I guess! Still not used to the long sleeves look, could make me look broader at some angles!

Added a shot outside the theatre & a sneak of Jayesslee performing. Have a great weekend!
