Review: Faire Belle Abstract Graphic Print Mullet Skirt (Blue)

This skirt has been hanging on the rack for pretty long. Wanted to wear it, but it's so impractical to wear when I want to stretch my legs out/cross my legs on the chair when I'm studying in some library/Starbucks. So... I can't wear this out just yet. After the 17th of May, I will. But that's some time away...

Anyway, here's the review first since the BO on Faire Belle is still open! Actually, this skirt is EVERYWHERE. I was foolish to BO it from Butteredguns when I first saw it. Should have waited a teeny while more when this skirt flooded my newsfeed on Facebook. Oh well, at least I got this from Faire Belle without the BO!

Wasn't sure which size to order. For BG, the biggest size was M, so I got that. Afraid that it would be too snug, I got L for Faire Belle's. BUT, it's too loose for me to wear mid-waist. So it has to be at the hips. Or I could wear it with a belt. Thank goodness for the belt loops this skirt comes with! Am in love with asymmetry, so I welcome mullet skirts. The prints are VERY pretty, and 99% similar to Zara's prints. Apparently the material comes in black/dark brown/navy. I like the blue-pink-purple mix of this skirt though. Colour harmony~ There is an inner lining which is well hidden under the outer layer of printed chiffon. Without this inner lining, the skirt becomes sheer ~ a twist! This skirt is hip-friendly too!

I suggest pairing with a plain top so that the skirt can be the center of attention. Your legs will definitely get lots of attention with the mullet design! The front length isn't too short and the back length isn't too long (ends slightly above my ankles). I would wear this with heels :)

The lighting isn't too good for the photos. I think it's got something to do with taking photos at night. Oh well :/ I'm sure you girls have already seen this skirt before!
